Milestones
- 1992 – 1998 Our roots trace back to 1992, where we started small with a 150 sq. ft. production space, crafting high-quality smaller heat sinks.
- 1998 – 2002 – We recognized the growing demand for our heat sinks and expanded our production facility to 2,000 sq. ft. in 2002. To further fuel our ambitions, we acquired land that year, bringing our total potential footprint to 6,000 sq. ft.
- 2004 – 2010 – Arrival of our first vertical machining center (VMC)
- 2010-2011 – Our commitment to exceptional heat sink production led us to acquire an additional 6,000 sq. ft. of space in 2012, bringing our total production facility to a massive 12,000 sq. ft.
- 2012 – 2013 – announce the addition of bonded fin heat sink technology to our manufacturing capabilities! This innovative approach unlocks a new level of thermal management efficiency and design flexibility for your electronic cooling needs.
> Akash Heat Sink Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Demonstrating Commitment to Quality - 20-13-2014 – Post a lot of R & D, designed and manufactured Friction stir welding technology. Fully Indian made FSW, a reliable alternative for businesses seeking high-quality heat sinks, previously sourced from European counties.
- 2020 – 2023 – Pioneering Skived Heat Sink Technology: We manufacture machines that create large-scale, high-efficiency heat sinks.
- Currently – Akash Heat Sink Acquired 80,000 sq. ft. Facility for Advanced Production. This new facility on the outskirts of Pune will allow us to house state-of-the-art equipment and integrate additional processes like anodizing, significantly expanding our manufacturing capabilities and capacity to serve you better.
